If everything goes according to plan, the Tato Family, owners of the Spice Modern Steakhouses on Park Avenue in Winter Park and Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, will open a new concept in mid January. The new restaurant will be called Pint American Gastropub and will be located in the Colonial Town Center in Lake Mary/Heathrow. Spokesman Manny Tato says the new restaurant will be across from Dexter’s of Lake Mary in a space most recently occupied by Vamanos Taqueria, a restaurant that somehow managed to come and go without my ever hearing about it. That’s all I have on it for now, but I hope to have a menu soon. Stay tuned.
