Camping World Stadium Debuts New Concession Items for Hungry Bowlandoans

Buddy and Brisket

If you’re headed to the Autonation Cure Bowl Saturday — Go Knights! — you’ve probably noticed that kickoff is right around supper time. Not to worry; the folks at Levy Restaurants, which oversees the concessions at Camping World Stadium, have put together some new items for the game.

Thursday, Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer and Levy chef Dan Madan previewed some of the items that will be offered. They include:

  • 12-Hour Smoked Brisket, hand-rubbed with a signature house rub and slow smoked with hickory wood
  • Dog for the Cure, topped with pink slaw, house smoked brisket, bbq sauce and crispy onions
  • Fried Apple Pie S’mores Sundae, apple pie bites topped with vanilla ice cream, mini marshmallows, chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs
  • Honey-Jalapeno and Cheddar Cheese Cornbread, infused with jalapenos, roasted corn, cheddar cheese and honey
  • Horseradish Slaw, shaved green cabbage, carrots and green onions tossed in a sweet and sour horseradish dressing

What, no cured ham?

The s’mores are probably a nod to the name of the stadium, don’t you think.

And notice that in the photo above the mayor is wearing neither a hair nor beard net. That’s a personal foul and a five yard penalty. That’ll move the chains and that’s good enough for a UCF first down.

I’m pretty sure the consessions at the stadium take credit cards, so you can definitely Charge On.

Autonation Cure Bowl is Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
