Rosemary Rose NOT among Disney’s laid-off; but gone nonetheless

Written By Administrator On March 26, 2009

Just received information from Disney officials clarifying the conditions of Rosemary Rose’s departure from the company. Rose, who has indeed left her position as vice president of food & beverage and merchandise at Walt Disney World, was not laid off. Rose resigned last week, ahead of the current batch of terminations, to accept an executive position with Strayer Education.

Mahmud Dhanani, who had held the position of vice president of resorts support for Walt Disney World, will now oversee food, beverage and merchandise operations for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in Anaheim.
