Hemisphere, the swanky restaurant on top of the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, has a regular roster of wine dinners and the next is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 25. It will be a Tour de France celebration with a selection of French wines paired with a special menu created by executive chef Jeff Powell and chef de cuisine Jason Moltz. Here’s a look at the full menu with pairings.

The dinner will begin with a reception at 7 p.m. Cost is $140 per person plus tax and gratuity. And remember, whenever you attend Hemisphere, valet parking at the hotel entrance is complimentary and you never have to walk through the airport terminal. For wine dinner reservations, call 407-825-1315 or send an email request.

JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek is inviting everyone to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the poolside Unreserved Beer Garden with beer flights from Florida breweries. The flights include four beers of your choice from among 11 local brews. And here’s something to consider: the flights are half off during Unreserved Beer Garden’s daily social hour from 4 to 5 p.m., even on St. Patrick’s Day.

As long as we’re down in the Walt Disney district, the Swan and Dolphin has announced the dates for its Food & Wine Classic. It will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12, and they’re bringing back with interactive food and beverage seminars that were suspended the past couple of years. That might seem like a long way off, but the festival fills up pretty quickly. Tickets are on sale now.

If you just can’t wait that long for some extracurricular wine action, you can sign up for Ivanhoe Village’s Sip Into Spring March 26. from 5 to 9 p.m.. Tim’s Wine Market will send out wines to 15 locations around the district – a red and a white at each place. Your ticket purchase will get you a wine glass to carry along from place to place. Cost is currently $40 but may rise to $50, so get yours early. Click here to buy.
