Big Fin’s Support Locals menu aims to keep the magic in dining

BF Supports Locals

Magical Dining has finally come to an end. Originally set to run from Aug. 28 through Oct. 3, Visit Orlando, the sponsor of the annual dining promotion, extended it through October.

The folks at Big Fin Seafood Kitchen don’t think that was long enough, so they’d like to extend it even further, through Dec. 30, in fact.

However, the name Magical Dining belongs to Visit Orlando. So

Beyond that, it’s all pretty much the same. Big Fin will offer a special three-course menu for $35 plus tax and gratuity with a choice of four entrees, including Shrimp & Scallop Orleans (a favorite of mine) and Crab Crusted Covina (another favorite of mine). BF’s Surf & Turf and 8-ounce Center Cut Filet round out the options.

Salads and clam chowder are starter choices (go with the chowder) and for dessert you may choose from Apple Pie Bread Pudding, New York Style Cheesecake, or a “pie cake” known as the Ooey Gooey.

Big Fin is even keeping with the MagDin policy of donating one dollar from every sale to a local charity, even though it is no longer contractually required to do so. It will continue to make the contributions to Feed the Need Florida, the nonprofit initiative that is helping to feed people impacted by shutdowns and layoffs due to the pandemic.

It’s a nice way to keep the love going all around.

Big Fin Seafood Kitchen is at 8046 Via Dellagio Way, Orlando. It is open for dinner daily. The phone number is 407-615-8888.
