Reyes Mezcaleria is offering free meals for anyone in need Wed., April 1, and Thurs., April 2, in conjunction with World Central Kitchen’s #chefsforamerica initiative. The meals, featuring gazpacho and paella, will be available at the restaurant, 821 N. Orange Ave., Orlando, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day.

The meals are being made available by Good Salt Restaurant Group, which owns Reyes as well as Osprey Tavern and Seito Sushi, Sysco and FreshPoint. Reyes’ chef Wendy Lopez and Kristoffer Anderson of Jaleo in Disney Springs are cooking the food.

You can reserve a meal at this link. It is not required but it will help gauge how many meals will be needed. Reservations are closed for today but you can still sign up for Thursday.

World Central Kitchen was founded by José Andrés, owner of Jaleo, and is known for feeding people affected by disasters, such as hurricanes and earthquakes. It recently shifted its focus to help those affect by Covid-19.
