  • Big Fin Seafood Kitchen recently celebrated its 10th anniversary by signing another 10-year lease at Dellagio, the Restaurant Row dining and retail complex. Congratulations to one of our favorite seafooders.
  • Orange County Brewers has opened in Seminole County. You’ll recall the beermaker left its original location in downtown Orlando this summer for a larger facility in Lake Mary. You can find them at Park Lane Plaza on International Parkway.
  • Motorworks Brewing will open in Orange County Brewers’ former spot in downtown Orlando.
  • Ocean Brewing has closed after a three-year run on Curry Ford Road.

  • When I reviewed one of the newer location of Sus Hi Eatstation earlier this year I wondered if the nascent concept might have expanded a little too quickly and thus lost control of its quality. So it is with trepidation that I share the news that Sus Hi Eatstation has just announced it largest expansion to date with three new locations. Slow down, guys. Or ninjas. Or whatever.
  • Winter Park Wine & Dine is Wed., Oct. 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Winter Park Farmers Market. Details and tickets.
  • Taste of Thornton Park is Oct. 17 around the fountain on East Washington Street.
  • Bread & Co. is “temporarily closed” due to “our store renovation,” according to signs posted on the windows of the Fairbanks Avenue Asian bakery. The place hadn’t been open barely half a year; you’d think they’d have taken care of renovations before opening.
  • The Lee Road Foxtail Coffee has partnered with DG Doughnuts to sell its fried pastries for patrons to dunk. This will be a second location for the doughnutterie, which opened in 2016 in a gas station in Oakland. A press release announcing the deal said that shortly after it opened, DG Doughnuts went viral. Not sure viral is a good descriptor for a food provider.
  • Speaking of viral, Chipotle has announced that it will open its first Florida drive-through in Kissimmee. I wonder if that means multiple drive-up windows that you’ll have to move through as your burrito makes its way down the line.
