Our friends down at The Whiskey on Restaurant Row are hosting a Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Line Chefs Table on November 4 at 6 p.m. Not only will you get to sip Jack Daniel’s — five cocktails in all — but you’ll get a chance to meet the Whiskey’s new chef, Chastity Harvey.
Harvey has put together a menu that sounds wonderful, and I can’t wait to try her cuisine. The Whiskey has always surprised with its food. Now it seems the restaurant is really upping its quality.
Tickets are $80 per person and can be purchased at this link. And by the way, the Whiskey will be closed all day on Nov. 4 to get ready for that evening’s Chef’s Table.

Jack Daniel’s Barrel Selection Dinner Menu:
First Course:
Pan seared Diver Scallop, torched bleu cheese, green apple sorrel,
yuzu butter, crispy honey.
Second Course:
Stout braised Wagyu beef cheeks, roasted bone marrow, grilled french
bread, pumpkin butter, and micro truffle arugula salad.
Third Course:
Pistachio encrusted rack of wild boar, sweet potato puree, mountain
berry gastrique, Brussels, and crispy garlic.
Fourth Course:
Sticky Whiskey braised bone-in short rib, roasted garlic and cheddar
grit cake, candied baby root vegetables.
Fifth Course:
Orange zest ganache bar, whiskey caramel, apple crisp, spiced cake
crumbs, crystallized basil.
