Chroma Keyed for September Opening

After years of not having any restaurants in the town it now calls home, Tavistock Restaurant Collection is apparently making up for lost time.

The Orlando based company has announced that it will open its second concept in Lake Nona in September: Chroma Modern Mar + Kitchen, which will be at the Lake Nona Town Center. It joins Canvas Restaurant and Market, also in Lake Nona, which opened earlier this year.

A press release announcing the restaurant gave few details of what to expect, other than the usual buzzwording that it will feature a “modern American menu” with “scratch-made dishes.”

“Our goal with Chroma is to create a communal atmosphere by delivering superior service and exceptional food and drink options in a lively setting,” the group’s CEO John Bettin also buzzed.” We’re excited to continue our contribution to the growing dining scene in Lake Nona with the addition of Chroma.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait for Chroma to open for more specifics. In the meantime, here are some other renderings of the 256-seat restaurant, which will be open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner daily. (Judging from the renderings, they’re expecting it to be popular with ghosts.)
