Walt Disney World Resort is hopping on the Sunday brunch bandwagon with two new offerings.

The first, at Narcoosee’s at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, has already started service. Narcoosee’s Waterfront Brunch is offered table d’hote style with a choice of an appetizer (onion soup, shrimp and grits, seafood charcuterie) and entree (Brioche French Toast, Lobster Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffles) and a trio of desserts.

Cost is $69 for adults, and in Disney World land one doesn’t have to reach puberty to be considered an adult — for guests age 3 to 9 the fee is $41. Adults may have a glass of Champagne, a mimosa or a Bloody Mary upon arrival but not those adults ages 10 to 20. Even though they’re paying full fare, their beverage will be a smoothie. And no, the adult beverages are not bottomless; if you want to tipple more you’ll have to pay more.

Beginning February 7, you can enjoy Brunch at the Top when California Grill begins its new Sunday offering. Brunch will be a little different here. Guests will be invited to wander around the show kitchen to select first bites from such things as house smoked orange honey ham, deviled Lake Meadow Naturals eggs, Greek yogurt with vanilla-scented granola and fresh berries, kale and apple salad, baby iceberg wedge with Cherrywood bacon and avocado-buttermilk Ranch dressing, hardwood smoked salmon, California rolls with jumbo lump crabmeat, spicy tuna rolls and shrimp tempura.

Then sit down and stay there, your entree will be delivered. Your choices include: Pan-fried Buttermilk Organic Chicken Cutlet with Haricots Verts; Sweet Potato Pancakes; Shrimp and Grits; Poached Lobster Benedict with Butter-Poached Tail; Chef’s Frittata with Three Lake Meadow Farms Eggs; and Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Soft Poached Eggs.

As with Narcoossee’s, adults will receive one complimentary alcoholic beverages and additional drinks will be added to the bill. There is an upcharge for the planned Bloody Mary bar.

Cost here is $80, because California Grill. The good news for kiddies is that they get to hold on to their youth for two more years. The $48 children’s charge is for ages 3 to 11.

Reservations for both new brunches can be made online — Narcoossee’s Sunday Waterfront Brunch here and California Grill’s Brunch at the Top here — or by calling 407-939-3463.
