
In the tradition of Battle of the Parks, COOK Orlando will take place on South Eola Drive between Pine and Church Streets, in front of the Sanctuary Condominiums. The competition will run from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. In addition to the cook-off, a VIP dinner will be held Saturday evening in the new Mezz space at the Sanctuary. The dinner is 7 to 10 p.m.
“COOK Orlando will be packed with great food and fun for the cause of LGBT equality,” HRC President Joe Solmonese said in a statement. “We are honored to have Yigit Pura, one of today’s most exciting pastry chefs, as one of the competition’s celebrity judges.”
Prices for the weekend events are:
$35 general admission to Sunday's event
$75 VIP seating to Sunday's event (includes valet parking, food and liquor/wine samplings, premier seating in front with servers, goodie bag)
$150 VIP dinner on Saturday Night
$200 VIP all weekend ($25 savings on both VIP's and includes valet both days)
