Ready, Set, Dial: Tickets for Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival Events Go On Sale Tuesday

Tickets to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival events that require advance reservations go on sale Tuesday, July 20, at 7 a.m. sharp E.S.T. Veterans of Festivals past know from experience that many of the most popular events will be sold out by 7:05 a.m. Included in the events that require advance booking are three new functions: Disney’s Dessert Discovery (3D), a Party for the Senses-like occasion dedicated to sweets and cordials; Grand Marnier Tasting and Interactive Experience that will guests to “taste, shake and indulge like the French”; and First Bites, an opening reception with tastes of foods from the International Marketplace kiosks, wine seminars, culinary demonstrations and more that takes place Sept. 30, the night before the Festival opens to the public. The 3D and Grand Marnier events are $45 plus tax each; First Bites is $195+. All events held at Epcot also require admission to the theme park. • Celebrating Family & Friends in the Kitchen (Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12) $110
• Cheese Seminars (Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov. 6, 13)
• Party for the Senses (Saturdays) $135; access to Wine View Lounge $90 more
• Food & Wine Pairings (Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays) $65
• Sweet Sundays (Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14) $85

(The Culinary Adventures in Signature Dining has quite a price range — $125-$450 — and the Web site does not specify which dinners carry the top price.)

Some other details to note:
• Several hundred Disney and celebrity chefs collaborate with renowned winemakers to create a wide variety of tasting experiences at Epcot and at signature Walt Disney World restaurants. Celebrity chefs (on designated festival dates) include Debbie Gold, Rock Harper, Cat Cora, Jeff Henderson, Robin Miller, Todd English, Jamie Deen and many other culinary stars.
• Cirque du Soleil returns as featured entertainment for this year’s Party for the Senses grand tastings each Saturday.
• Reservation-only festival events range from $40 to $450 (plus tax, gratuity included) per person.
• Entrance to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, plus Eat to the Beat! concerts, culinary exhibits and all attractions and park entertainment, is included with regular Epcot admission.
