Trongs: So Your Fingers Don’t Get Saucy (not that there’s anything trong with that)

Written By Administrator On November 26, 2008

OK, I’m not sure if I like this product or not. At first it looks like a joke, but then you say, well, maybe it makes sense. They’re called Trongs, named for a tri-pronged tong, and you use them Trongs to eat messy items like Buffalo wings and barbecued ribs. You have to go to the Trongs Web site and watch the video to get a feel — I’m not sure that’s the appropriate word — for them.

What’s unclear to me is whether the makers of this device intend to market it to restaurants to provide to their guests, or if they expect consumers to carry these things around with them just in case they get a hankering for some wings.I guess if they really work they could save a restaurant a lot of money on paper napkins. Less landfill, too. Very green. Just a little odd.
