“Intimate and edgy,” the press release reads, “the wine bar will feature handcrafted wines culled from the best vineyards around the world.” That makes sense. It continues: “A selection of artisanal beers, organic spirits and specialty cocktails will complement the comprehensive wine list.” Cocktails? That’s an unusual call for a wine bar.
But there’s more. “A gourmet, chef-driven menu serving house-made and artisanal charcuterie, farmhouse cheeses, hand-cut crudo, tapas a la plancha and bite-size desserts will also be offered.”
Wow, that is edgy.
