Set your alarm to go off early the morning of August 11th -- the reservations line for this year's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival open that day at 7 a.m. You can expect many of the top tickets to be gone by 7:02 a.m.
Hot tickets are usually the wine and food pairing dinners and special wine tastings, as well as several other special events, such as the Sweet Sundays. You can look over the schedule of events at the Food & Wine Festival page.
Reservations may be booked by phone -- best of luck there! -- by calling 407-939-3378 or online at disneyworld.com/foodandwine. Events range in price from $35 to $375. Most events also require admission to Epcot. Advance reservations are not necessary for daily wine seminars or numerous cooking demonstrations and exhibits. And, of course, the country kiosks set up around the World Showcase walkway offer food and wine tastings on a walk-up-and-pay basis.
This year's festival runs from Sept. 25 through Nov. 8. More details to come.
