Clermont Restaurant to Open in Thornton Park

Written By Scott Joseph On May 3, 2016

Wallace Sign

Next up for an oft-occupied space in the Sanctuary Condominiums building on South Eola Drive is Wallace Grill, which currently operates in Clermont. According to a sign in the butcher papered windows at 100 S. Eola Drive, Wallace Grill features seafood, steak and cheers. You won’t get much more information from the restaurant’s website, because apparently it doesn’t have one. There isn’t much more available on the Wallace Grill Facebook page, either.

But apparently you’ll be able to find such cheery things as Seafood Scamp, Chicken Alfredo, Seared Duck Breast, Skirt Steak and Fish & Chips. Or not. Very hard to tell at this point. One menu that I was able to digitally dig up said the fare changes daily.

Wallace Grill will move into the space that started out as Fifi’s Patisserie. It then became Sanctuary Diner, then Nick’s Italian Kitchen. In the three years since Nick’s closed, the space has been slated to be a place called Honey and then a Champagne lounge called Pagne. Neither ever opened. That’s a lot of activity for just eight years.
