Field to Feast Dinner Features Star Chefs from WDW

Written By Scott Joseph On January 11, 2016

F2F

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Field to Feast dinner featuring some of the stars of Disney’s top kitchens. This is a unique event, a dine-about style dinner on the grounds of Long & Scott Farms in Zellwood. The distance from farm to table is very, very short.

The event, which is sponsored by Walt Disney World and Edible Orlando, is Saturday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. (Check in and a welcome cocktail are at 4:30.) Tickets are $195 per person (plus tax) with 100 percent of proceeds going to benefit the Kid’s Cafe Program of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. There is a limited number of tickets available and this event always sells out. Click this link to Edible Orlando to purchase your tickets.

Among those scheduled to cook are: Chef Scott Hunnel, Victoria & Albert’s; Chef Brian Piasecki, California Grill; Chef Tim Keating, Flying Fish Café; Chef Michael Gonsalves, Artist Point; Chef Craig Schleider, The Hollywood Brown Derby; Chef Russell Palmer, The Wave … of American Flavors; Chef Gregg Hannon, EPCOT® International Flower & Garden Festival; Chef Leonard Thomson, Park Event Operations and Premium Events; and Chef Jeff Barnes, Disney’s Contemporary Bakery.

I attended the first F2F and was very disappointed I couldn’t go last year. I’m not going to miss it this time.
