Chuy’s Moving Into Area; First Restaurant in Kissimmee

Written By Scott Joseph On January 8, 2013

Chuy’s, an Austin based Tex-Mexery is moving into the Central Florida market and will open its first location at 7913 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee’s tourist corridor. An unspecified number of other Chuy’s are planned for the area.

Chuy’s, founded in 1982, features made-from-scratch Tex-Mex items such as Stuffed Chile Rellenos, Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom Enchiladas and Big As Yo’ Face Burritos. The restaurant chains’ margaritas are made with freshly squeezed lime juice. The company has 39 of the full-service restaurants in eight states, but strives to have each location have a unique look. The restaurant’s motto is “If you’ve seen one Chuy’s, you’ve seen one Chuy’s!”.

What do you think? Have you eaten at a Chuy’s before? Are you happy about it coming to town? Here’s a link to the Kissimmee Chuy’s Facebook page.
