Frank & Steins Eatery & Pub Taking Over Fairbanks Avenue Space

Written By Scott Joseph On August 13, 2014

Frank & Steins may not have created a monster of a concept, but business has apparently been good enough at the downtown location to add a second spot in Winter Park. The hot dog and beer palace that opened in the Plaza building on the  Magnolia Avenue side just a little over three years ago will take over the former Shipyard Brewpub space on Fairbanks Avenue between New York and Park Avenues. That was where the original Dexter’s was at one time (next door to a laundromat) and where Cucina Due also tried its hand. The locations handicap is a teeny parking lot. Here’s hoping Frank & Steins can  find enough spaces for all the torch-carrying villagers. No opening date has been announced yet.
