Dundon, Dublin and the UCF Knights

Written By Scott Joseph On July 29, 2014

kevin-dundon2The UCF Knights football team is going to Dublin to take on Penn State in the Croke Park Classic and Scott Joseph’s Supper Club is going, too.

The Croke Park Classic football game (real American football, not soccer) is Saturday, August 30, in Dublin, Ireland. On Friday, Aug. 29, I’ll be hosting a special Supper Club in Dublin with celebrity chef, author and television personality Kevin Dundon. And we’re inviting all the UCF Knights fans who are making the trip to join us.

The dinner is being held at Morgan Wine Merchant, 35 Pembroke Road, Dublin, near the city’s center and easily accessible from most of the host hotels. We’ll begin with a reception featuring the smoked salmon Dundon features at Dunbrody, his hotel and restaurant in Wexford. The reception will also mark the unveiling of Arthurstown Porter Storm Ale. Click this link for a full menu.

A four-course seated dinner with pairings will follow the reception with Dundon on hand to talk about his native Dublin and Irish culture and cuisine. It’s an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy the food of one of Ireland’s most famous chefs on his own emerald turf.

Seating is limited to 55 guests. Tickets are $125 per person, which includes all food, pairings and gratuities. For more information and to purchase tickets, follow this link to the Supper Club page. Have questions? Send me a note at this link.

Go Knights!
