Tolla’s Italian Restaurant Sold

Written By Scott Joseph On June 6, 2014

Tolla’s, the tiny Italian restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in Winter Park’s West Side, has been sold. Thursday was its ninth anniversary. “I’m hanging up the chef’s hat,” said a weary Gary Tolla. “I’m missing my family, and my body can’t take it anymore.”

The new owners are planning a breakfast and lunch only operation, but Tolla was not sure if they would be keeping the Tolla’s name. They purchased the entire business from him, he said, including the name and the long-term lease on the building.

Tolla’s Italian Restaurant will close after dinner service on Saturday, June 14.
