The Table Orlando is Moving, Pharmacy Expanding

Chefs and restaurateurs Tyler Brassil and Loren Falsone will be moving some furniture around at their two Restaurant Row businesses. The Table Orlando, the limited-schedule fine dining restaurant with just one table (albeit one that seats 22), will move to a recently vacated space above the current location. Pharmacy, the speakeasy themed bar and restaurant next door, will move into the Table’s old space following a renovation to match Pharmacy’s decor.

Brassil says that he’ll be able to increase Pharmacy’s seating by perhaps 40 percent, and the added space will allow him to accept the private parties he often turns down. (For some reason, Pharmacy is popular with pharmaceutical companies that want to entertain clients.)

The Table will move to a larger space on the upper level that was previously occupied by a dance studio. It will be the same 22-seater that is used now, but the space will be larger and will allow Brassil and Falsone to partition it. They will be able to handle a full table in part of the space and a private function in another. Or, if needed, the entire room could be opened to accommodate a group of up to 150 people.

The Table Orlando opened in the Dellagio Plaza in 2011 as a Friday and Saturday night dining option, a schedule it maintains, although it is available (and often fully seated) for other nights of the week by special arrangement. Pharmacy opened just about a year ago and became an instant hit for its house-made tonics and sodas and hand-crafted cocktails with fresh ingredients, and also a menu of rustic fare, such as cassoulet, marrow bones, pizza and rock shrimp.

Brassil expects the changes to begin in April.
