Restaurants offer Tax Day specials

Written By Administrator On April 15, 2009

Tax Day A handful of restaurants are offering tax relief specials for those who choose to dine out on April 15. Gimmicks, to be sure, but why pass up a special deal these days?

One of the more appealing is from McCormick & Schmick’s, the upscale-ish seafooder at Mall at Millenia. Mc&S is offering a Tax Relief Celebration on April 15, with a $10.40 dinner special on some items, and several drink specials. Which one you choose may depend on the type of refund you’re getting. McCormick & Schmick’s is at 4200 Conroy Road, Orlando; 407-226-6515.

TGI Friday’s will give guests $5 Bonus Bites cards for purchases (excluding alcohol) of $15 to $25 and $10 Bonus Bites cards for purchases of more than $25 at participating locations. Sounds good, except for excluding alcohol. Check the Web site for Friday’s locations, and be sure to call ahead to make sure your neighborhood TGIF is participating.

P.F. Chang’s is offering a 15 percent discount April 15. Too bad tax day isn’t on the 30th! There’s a P.F. Chang’s next door to McCormick & Schmick’s at Millenia, 407-345-2888, and another at 436 N. Orlando Ave., Winter Park, 407-622-0188.

If those deals don’t sound sweet enough, Cinnabon is offering free cinnamon roll bites between 5 and 8 p.m. today.

Keep in mind that all prices listed here do not include tax. Of course.
