Final Menus for Sanaa’s Opening

Written By Administrator On April 24, 2009

— Including Desserts, Wines and Kid’s Menus

Just got a hold of the menus as they will look at the launch of Sanaa, the new restaurant at the also-new Kidani Village, the time share, oops, I mean Disney Vacation Club property.Sanaa

When I posted the preview menus I questioned the use of beef and pork in what was rumored to be an Indian restaurant. As it hints on the menus, this is not an Indian restaurant but rather one that features African food influenced by Indian spices.

Also, this is a “family service” restaurant, which means it will not be placed among the upper-tier restaurants that include Jiko, California Grill, Citricos and Flying Fish Cafe. (Victoria & Albert’s is above the upper-tier in a pantheon of its own.) I’m thinking more in line with the Wave, although I’ll have to wait and see.

Hope to have some other information soon, but here are the menus as they stand for the opening May 1. Most of the menus feature a colorful design of beads that I associate with American Indian crafts; you know, the sort of things you made at camp when you were a kid. The kid’s menu here is quite different. Get ready for a loud blast (figuratively) if you open it up.
